Joan and her husband, James, are out to a fancy dinner. Before they left, they had gotten in a big fight when Joan took too long to get ready and James brought up how she spends too much money on clothes. However, they made up quickly and went off to have dinner. But the feelings weren't all resolved, and James sees Joan flirting with the guitar player in the band. This sparks him to bring up the fight he thought had been resolved, and they talk about it over dinner. Joan tells James that she doesn't appreciate him nagging at her about her materialism, but she concedes that she does spend a lot of money on clothes and take a long time to primp. James admits that she is a woman and he does like that she cares about her appearance. They make up and come to a compromise. The hard feelings are broken down, and they enjoy their dinner as a happy husband and wife.
